I really enjoyed chatting with Jon Hanson and Dan Facchini on Your Money Matters on WGN Radio 720 on Wednesday, 9/30.
My main point:
Treat your presentation as a performance.
It’s not an email. You’ve been asked to address the group for a reason.
So, prepare like a performer would prepare. Whether that’s an athlete getting ready for a game or an actor about to take the stage – Practice, rehearse.
Establish the marks you want to hit and the metrics you want to achieve.
